Tip #1Cut back on your meat consumption.

More people than ever before are making small but significant contributions, such as going vegan, participating in “meat-free Mondays,” or simply trying to be more mindful of what they eat.
There are currently numerous plant-based hacks available for both new vegetarians and meat eaters. Anyone concerned about the planet’s health should make mindful choices about what they eat, and there are now services that make it easier than ever.

Tip #2: Stay away from toxic cleaning products.
Because of their potent components, many household cleaning products are effective — yet they can also be hazardous, not only to the environment but also to our bodies.
Products containing microbeads (tiny plastic particles) are extremely hazardous. They are toxic and harmful to both plant and marine life when found in water supplies or the ocean. Many environmental organisations are trying to get them withdrawn from the market entirely.
Cleaning regularly is essential for removing common household “nasties,” but products do not have to be harsh to be successful.
Harsh chemicals can aggravate respiratory disorders like asthma, as well as skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. More natural products, or those that are particularly labelled as non-toxic, natural, and ecologically friendly, can be more beneficial overall.

Tip #5: Turn off everything.
It’s simple, but many of us leave energy or water running when it’s not necessary. When not in use, turn off lights and faucets, but be especially cautious with electrical items such as chargers or unsecured outlets.
It is also possible to save water by washing your laundry at a lower temperature and taking brief showers rather than baths. If you keep energy and resource conservation at the forefront of your thoughts, you will benefit not only the environment but also your budget!
